Outdoor carbon steel stairs with high cost performance and high strength become the preferred choice for industrial, commercial and courtyard scenes, but pay attention to surface rust treatment and regular maintenance. Preferential selection of hot-dip galvanized + spray plastic dual-process products, and according to the use of the environment to match the anti-slip design and load-bearing scheme.
1. Applicable scene
Residential courtyard: villa entrance stairs, garden viewing platform.
Commercial places: shopping mall corridor, hotel lobby, factory workshop.
Public facilities: Park viewing platform, station canopy, pier boardwalk.
Industrial environment: warehouse loading area, garage entrance and exit (need high strength bearing)

2. Shopping precautions
Surface treatment standard
The thickness of hot dip galvanized layer is ≥60μm, and the spray thickness is recommended to be 80-120μm to ensure outdoor weather resistance.
View test reports (e.g. salt spray test results).
Tread to make non-slip lines (such as serrations, grooves), or lay anti-slip pads, rubber strips.
Structural safety
The distance between the vertical rods is no more than 15cm, the step height is 15-18cm (ergonomic), and the welding points need to be reinforced to prevent rust.
Part quality
Handrails and connectors use 304 stainless steel or galvanized steel to avoid rust and breakage.
Compliance
Comply with local building codes (such as fire prevention and earthquake resistance requirements), and provide a test certificate for commercial use.

3. Maintaining
Regular inspection: Check whether the coating falls off every year, whether the screws are loose, and repair in time.
Anti-rust treatment: local rust spots can be sanded and sprayed with anti-rust paint.
Cleaning method: Wipe with neutral detergent to avoid strong acid and alkali corrosion surface.
