1. Environmental adaptive protection of exterior steel stairs

Anti-rust and anti-corrosion strengthening,

Welding points, cutting edges and other rust-prone parts need to be coated with zinc-rich primer or anti-rust oil.
Regular maintenance: at least once a year, a comprehensive clean and spray anti-rust paint, coastal areas can shorten the cycle.

Windproof and aseismic measures,

For stairs in high floors or open areas, increase the density of diagonal braces or anchor bolts to improve wind resistance.
In earthquake prone areas, flexible connectors are preferred to reduce the fracture risk caused by rigid fixation.

2. Construction taboo

❌ Avoid direct installation on wooden or unhardened ground, which may cause settlement.
❌ Do not perform welding or outdoor operations in rain or snow to prevent material failure due to moisture.
❌ Do not omit the anti-rust coating, bare carbon steel can rust in the outdoor environment within a few months.

3. Acceptance standard

Visual inspection: step flatness error ≤3mm/ m, handrail straightness deviation ≤2mm/ m.

Tool detection: Use a level to check the overall verticality and ensure that there is no shaking or abnormal noise.
