1. Previous preparation
Site survey and foundation treatment
Ensure that the installation ground is smooth and solid (such as a concrete base or solid floor). If the ground is soft, pour concrete foundation or lay reinforcing steel plates first.
Measure the space size, check whether the stair step height, depth and overall span meet the design requirements, to avoid errors resulting in tilt or inconsistency after installation.
Materials and accessories inspection
Confirm that the carbon steel material has been treated with rust prevention (such as electrostatic spraying, hot dip galvanizing), and provide quality certification.
Check that accessories such as handrails, railings, and connectors are complete and free from deformation or rust.
Tools and equipment
Prepare professional tools such as the welding machine (if welding is required), level, wrench, and expansion bolt, and ensure that the operators are qualified.




2. Installation key points
Structural stability
Welding/fixing method: the welding should be uniform without slag inclusion, and the weld height is in line with the design; The bolted connection shall be tightened and fitted with an anti-loosening gasket.
Load-bearing test: After installation, it is necessary to carry out a load test (such as standing heavy objects for 24 hours) to verify that the structure has no deformation or abnormal noise.
Anti-slip and safety details
Tread surfaces should be treated with anti-slip treatment (such as embossing, grooving or laying anti-slip pads).
The height of the handrail is recommended to be 90-110cm, and the gap between the railings should not exceed 11cm to prevent children from getting stuck.
Drainage design
Reserve drainage slope (about 5°) on both sides or bottom of the stairs to avoid accelerated corrosion of carbon steel caused by water.
